Landscape-scale Resilience: Collaborating Across the Tule River and Deer Creek Watersheds

Organized by the Tulare Basin Watershed Network on August 18, 2022, this virtual event provided an overview of longer term and recent efforts to support resilience in the region, as well as discussion to begin exploring opportunities for coordination and shared leadership to generate mutually beneficial outcomes for ag, water, ecological, and socio-economic interests in the face of challenging conditions.

The speakers were Adam Livingston (Southern Sierra Partnership), Jeff Powers and Larry Saslaw (Sequoias to the Sloughs), Denise Kadara (Allensworth Progressive Association), Samantha Arthur (Lower Deer Creek Watershed Plan), and Reyn Akiona (Multi-benefit Land Repurposing).
